There are journeys that carry not only gifts, but also deep gratitude.
There are encounters that leave us speechless – for in that quiet place are the silhouettes of heroes who wrote the golden pages of our nation’s history.

On April 20, 2025, the GLS Nghe An Branch had the special opportunity to visit the Nghe An Center for Nursing Wounded Soldiers, where more than 55 seriously wounded and ill veterans are being cared for – courageous soldiers who left behind a part of their bodies on the battlefield, so that peace could be won for us today.

 
It was only upon arriving at the center that we truly felt the sacred value of peace.
Behind every glance, every smile, lies a world of memories and sacrifice – pain, loss, and hardship that only those who lived through war can truly understand.
 
The gifts of gratitude we brought were not just tokens of appreciation, but heartfelt gestures of sharing and respect – for these silent heroes who gave their youth for the nation.
 
This meaningful visit is part of a series of activities leading up to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025) – a sacred historical milestone reminding us to cherish the present and never forget the past.
 
At GLS, we believe that social responsibility is not just a duty – it is a part of our identity.
And today, each member of GLS is once again filled with pride to contribute and continue the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” – a timeless value of the Vietnamese people.
